Event Locations

The adidas Innsbruck Alpine Trailrun Festival combines urban Alpine culture and Alpine trail running. Innsbruck, with its Landestheater forecourt, forms the vibrant center of the festival, with the start of the long races K110, K85, K65, and the prologues. Mutters is the starting point for the medium distances K42, K35, and K25 and leads directly into the impressive mountain world around Innsbruck, while Hall in Tirol, with its historic backdrop, hosts the start of the K15. The finish line for almost all distances is the State Theater forecourt—only the Vertical ends directly at the Seegrube.

Introducing the Innsbruck region

The Innsbruck region is a unique symbiosis of vibrant urban space and fascinating alpine mountains. Diverse city flair and sightseeing are always just a breath away from sporting adventures and the next summit victory. With numerous trail running routes that pass close to the Tyrolean capital and lead high up into the Alps over hill and dale, Innsbruck also offers ideal conditions for both novice and passionate trail runners alike.

The best way to get to the starting points of the trails in the region is to use public transportation, which is included in the free Welcome Card (available from partner companies for stays of two nights or more). And if you need a breather, the card can also be used to explore cultural treasures and natural beauty in and around Innsbruck by bus and train.
