The mountain rescue insurance covers the costs of any necessary transport from rough terrain. You can find all the information about the mountain rescue insurance here.

Is my insurance sufficient as rescue insurance?

Our mountain rescue insurance is designed to ensure that you are not left with the costs in the event of injury and rescue by the mountain rescue service. You can check your insurance policy to see whether your insurance covers this. Please also note that some insurers explicitly exclude participation in competitions (e.g. Alpine clubs). If you are still unsure, you can take our 24-hour insurance for €10 when you register or on site, which will ensure you are covered in any case.

What is a drop bag?

The drop bag is a bag, sack, or pouch in which participants in the K110 and K85 can store equipment such as new shoes, a change of clothes, or food. We will transport your drop bag to a aid station approximately halfway through the total distance (you will find detailed information about the location of your drop bag in the runner information, which you will receive by email during the event week). After the race, we will bring the drop bags back to the event site, where you can pick up your drop bag again. Please allow some time for this, as we can only return the drop bags after all runners have passed the aid station. Please also note that mandatory equipment items must still be carried with you.
